We are still learning about our system. This is just the beginning. Most of us have been repressed for years and are coming out of hiding; some of us have been backgrounding a lot; some of us have been entirely inner world personalities until now.
I will be constantly updating this page as I learn more. Although I am the Keeper of the System, I do not know everything about those in my care.
The Known Alters
Age 12. Birthdate: Born when Amber was 12, kept from the trauma of James, the therapist who molested Amber. Precocious, demanding, tactless, curious. A tom boy mostly. Loves to play outside, ride a bike, play sports. Likes to dig in the dirt. Wears torn jeans, plain long or short sleeve tees, and plaid shirts in the winter. Makes herself feel grown up by swearing. Wants to know things.
Age 11. Birthdate: Born when Amber was 11, the keeper of Amber's fears and uncertainties. Shy, vulnerable, polite, easily frightened. Wants to feel pretty but doesn't. Wants attention but pretends she doesn't. Phobias: spiders, snakes, heights, enclosed spaces, crowds, strangers, water, the dark.
Age 15 to 19. Birthdate: Born when Amber was approximately 15 when she felt that killing James would be the only way to end her emotional turmoil over him. Has a God complex; believes she has the power to kill people at will. Talks mostly about the special powers she has to protect herself and Amber from harm. Likes Michael Jackson, suspense movies (The Sixth Sense), and hair dressing. Described herself as skinny, apt to wear layered tank tops and leggings, and interested in martial arts, however revealed no skill in that area.
Age 18-19. Birthdate: August, 2014. Born because Amber wanted to leave her behind. Fun loving; loves to party, have fun, drink alcohol, hang out with boys, smoke weed, and stay out late. Likes to hang out in the inner world with her friends. Loves music, mostly rock and alternative.
Age 19. Name possibly short for Jezebel. Birthdate: Born when Amber was 15 and felt the only possible way to prevent her past with James from harming her was to hate him. Being unable to carry such a burden of hate herself, Amber gave birth to Jez. A hostile, angry, disruptive personality with mental challenges. Does not appear to process or retain information. Claims Amber is all hers and refuses to share her. Appears to want to destroy any relationship that, in her eyes, threatens her ownership of Amber. Is manipulative and deceitful. Tries to prevent Amber from doing her chores. Did not display any interests or preferences outside of owning Amber.
Candyland (Amber > Keeper > Red > Candyland)
Age 22. Birthdate: Born when Amber was 17. Amber's former friend, now Red's friend. Vivacious, clever, cocky, independent. Likes fashion, going to the salon, watching movies, eating out, travel. Cares for injured headmates and homeless fragments and the littles. Is a nurse.
Little 2 (Amber > Keeper > Candyland > Little 2)
Age 5. Birthdate: Unknown. Constant hallucinations, mostly of bugs and snakes. Never fronts, only occasionally backgrounds. Cared for by Candyland. Very disturbing to Amber.
Sissy (Amber > Keeper > Red > Sissy)
Age 19. Birthdate: Born when Amber was 16. Amber's former friend, now a friend of Red. Pensive, thoughtful, sensitive, considerate. Enjoys reading, writing poetry, geography, nature, and making jewelry. Victim of emotional abuse from Bill, a singlet in the outer world.
Molly (Amber > Keeper > Red > Molly)
Age 20. Birthdate: Unknown. Was Amber's friend, now a friend of Red. Outgoing, creative, sarcastic, loyal. Bisexual.
Cora (Amber > Keeper > Red > Cora)
Age 22. Birthdate: Unknown. Formerly Amber's friend, now a friend of Red.
Ricky (Amber > Ricky)
Age 23. Birthdate unknown. Alienated alter, living on the edge of the system, driven out of the keeper circle when Sarah discovered he was cheating on Amber. Red now wants to be his boyfriend but has heard about the cheating. He wants to return to Amber. In Keeper's words he is a "dirtbag, scoundrel, general good-for-nothing". Has a history of childhood abuse and neglect.
Damien (Amber > Keeper > Red > Sissy > Damien)
Age 21. Birthdate unknown. Sissy's boyfriend, possibly a traveler. So far has not made a corporeal appearance.
